UN approves elephant ivory exports

The United Nations has given the go-ahead to China and Japan to import 108 tonnes of elephant ivory from four African nations.
The decision is being contested by some environmental groups. They say the only way to stop illegal poaching of elephants is by culling demand. They worry this move will fuel demand instead.
