Papua New Guinea may lodge a complaint about Canada with the United Nations. A diplomatic row between the two countries has erupted over the deportation from Vancouver of a Papua New Guinean dance troup. The dancers were part of a cultural exchange program but were refused entry after being interrogated for six hours by immigration officers in Vancouver. Canadian officials in Australia are refusing to comment but Papua New Guinea wants to take the matter to the United Nations.
