Beijing clean air initiatives begin

Beijing's battle with air quality and traffic congestion has stepped up a notch as it tries to clean-up the city's air in time for the Olympic Games next month.
Factories have been closed, three new subway lines opened and traffic bans put in place. It's not pleasing everyone. Some motorists don't like losing the use of their cars every second day for the next two months. For others though the prospect of clean air is a real plus.
