Marshallese seek jobs in U-S hotel industry

With unemployment a serious problem across the Pacific, about 100 Marshall Islanders will leave this month to take up jobs in the hotel industry in the United States. If the scheme proves successul, hundreds more could follow. Marshallese do not need visas to live and work in the United States. The Owner of the only job placement agency in the Marshall Islands, Russell Langrine, set up his business about 18 months ago to help people in Majuro find work.
