NGOs critise river commission over flood warnings
Updated
Flood waters are starting to recede along parts of the Mekong River, but the political fallout from Tropical Storm Kammuri continues.
The Mekong River Commission has been roundly criticised by environmental groups who say it didn't give enough warning of floods. As for the warning system, the MRC says it posted its warnings on its website and sent daily bulletins to NGOs.
