Golfers told to learn English to compete
Updated
The Ladies Professional Golf Association in the US has a new rule - foreign players will have to learn English or face suspension from the world's most prestigous women's tour.
The Association's officials are reported to have said players need to focus as much on communication skills, as they do on golf. It's believed to be the first rule of its kind in a major sport, and it has the support of some sporting officials here in Australia.
