Fiji Methodists refuse to back down

Fiji's Methodist Church says it won't be backing down from its opposition to the interim government's People's Charter, or its determination to convert non-Christians. A group of police officers who are also Methodists visited the church leadership this week to warn them not to direct church members to reject the Charter but to let them make up their own minds.
