Call for tougher penalties for law-breaking leaders

RAThe Chairman of Transparency Solomon Islands, Bob Pollard wants to see tougher penalties for the country's leaders who break the law. Mr Pollard says suggestions in the local media that the country's leaders should have immunity from criminal prosecution are ludicrous. The comments follow the jailing of former Prime Minister and Minister for Environment, Sir Allan Kemakeza.
