Finance Minister says Tuvalu Trust Fund can weather financial storm

Tuvalu's Finance Minister, Lotoala Metia, is confident his country's vital Trust Fund can weather the storm in world financial markets. The Trust Fund provides a major revenue stream for the government's annual budget and, along with other stocks around the world, has suffered a significant drop in value.
Despite that, Mr Metia says, that at this stage, budget cuts will not be necessary.
