Fiji president calls on nation to move forward

RAFiji's interim prime minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama has still remained silent following yesterday High Court decision that his removal of the elected government in 2006 was not illegal. But there have since been criticisms from within and outside the country of the court decision and what it would mean to an early return to democratic rule in Fiji. The ABC's Australia Network Pacific Editor, Sean Dorney says today's Fiji papers are porting however, that the business community has welcomed the decision. He says in a national address to mark Fiji's independence anniversary this morning, Fiji President Ratu Josefa Iloilo has called for the country to back the controversial Peoples' Charter.
