Recession fears in Australia

In Australia, economists at the ANZ bank say house prices won't fall over the next few years.

Instead they forecast stagnation based on an expectation that Australia will avoid a recession. But plenty of other economists say a severe downturn is unavoidable and house prices will drop sharply as the newly unemployed are forced to sell their homes.
