Concern over HIV rate in Indonesia

Indonesia's government has come under fire for its failure to stem the growing tide of HIV infections.

The growing incidence among housewives and children is prompting concerns that it is now becoming a generalized epidemic and that Africa's HIV tragedy will soon be repeated in South East Asia's largest nation. Health experts say condoms are the best way to contain the spread of infections and Indonesia's religious and political leaders can no longer deny the realities of the nations sexual landscape.
