Fiji wins gold in 100m sprint double

Fiji's Makalesi Bulikiobo has taken gold in the women's 100m sprint at the South Pacific Games, narrowly beating Papua New Guinea's Mae Koime by just two one hundreths of a second.

Toea Wisil from PNG won the bronze.

In the men's event, veteran Fiji sprinter Jone Delai won the title of the fastest man in the Pacific, with fellow countryman Iowane Dovumatua taking silver, and Wally Kareka from Papua New Guinea the bronze.
